As older albums return, BTS tops The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, and The Beatles in the sales chart

The best-selling album in the United States this week is the new studio LP by the Foo Fighters. Medicine at midnight, who debuted at No.1, ahead of recent Morgan Wallen outings (Dangerous, N ° 2 and If i know myself, No.3), The Weeknd (The strong points, N ° 4) and even One Direction (Up all night, No. 5), but these bestsellers may not tell the most exciting (and somewhat surprising) story in this picture of the Top Albums sales chart.

Thanks to several returning bestsellers, one act once again occupies the most place in the best-selling album chart, grabbing more places than usual for the biggest acts in their best weeks.

BTS are claiming a half-dozen rungs for themselves on the latest edition of the Best Selling Albums chart, surpassing all other numbers on the tally, though it’s worth mentioning that they are missing out on the chart. top part of the standings this time around. Six hit albums in one week really is a major show of popularity on the list, and BTS has beaten its closest rivals by two titles, a pretty big sum.

Taylor Swift and The Weeknd come in second looking at the stars with the most real estate in this week’s Top Albums sales chart, with four appearances each. It’s amazing that despite The Weeknd just stepping onto the world’s biggest stage – the Super Bowl halftime show – a group of South Korean boys still manage to see their titles, some of which have years at this point, sell much more of his discography.

While BTS may take the most spots of any artist on the new album bestselling chart, their six titles aren’t as high as they’ve grown in the past. Only one BTS recording, Love yourself: tear, appears inside the top 40. This put rockets from # 72 to # 36 in a giant leap.

The next versions of BTS are all quite close to each other, each appearing in a few places on the next CD. Soul Card: 7 goes to n ° 46, their last effort To be comes in at # 51 (down from # 37, the only BTS title to fall in this week’s leaderboard) while Do you like: she moved from seventieth place to n ° 57.

Two beloved BTS albums, Soul Map: Persona and Love yourself: answer, return to the best-selling album chart after being absent last week. These ancient giants reappear at numbers 68 and 85 respectively.

To further emphasize how amazing it is that BTS is currently listing six different releases in the Best Albums sales chart, it’s worth mentioning that just behind Swift and The Weeknd, only two other musical acts take up three spots on list: The Beatles and Metallica. A handful of other stars keep two efforts on the roster, but only those few names even come close to BTS’s feat in this setting.
