Garth Hill College staff member investigated for ‘inappropriate behavior’

An investigation is underway at a school in Bracknell after an allegation of “inappropriate behavior” by a member of staff.

BerkshireLive understands that the allegation was made regarding a staff member at Garth Hill College in Bull Lane, Bracknell.

Principal Keith Grainger said: “The school is aware of an allegation and is dealing with it according to school procedures and in conjunction with the Bracknell Forest Council.

“The safety and well-being of students is of paramount importance and we take all reports of inappropriate behavior very seriously.

“We are not in a position to comment further at this point.”

Garth Hill College is a co-education comprehensive school for students aged 11-19. A post on its website says “we praise and reward good citizenship, but there are clearly understood penalties for unacceptable conduct” and that “Garth Hill is a happy and vibrant place to learn.”
