The cheapest houses sold in Reading, Wokingham, Slough and other parts of Berkshire so far this year

The cheapest properties that have sold in Berkshire so far this year have been revealed. It looks like Reading might be the best place to buy if you’re on a budget.

It’s rare to find a property for less than £100,000 these days, but there are a few areas in Berkshire where it’s still a possibility. Many of these properties can be purchased through rental mortgages, but generally require a larger deposit when you purchase the property.

Most of these properties are also likely to be leasehold properties rather than freehold properties. If you buy a freehold property, it means you own the land and the property it is on, but when you buy a lease, you only own the property.
